Teamwork!

A mission like Iowa MOST relies on great teamwork!  Operating Room Nurses Jessica Wolfe, Pat Wehrle, Karla Garibay and Jen Oliver pause for a moment between cases.  Thank you for your commitment to our patients and families!

Patients of Iowa MOST are primarily pediatric and the team working with the kids is experienced. Ready to welcome them are nurse Mindy Bowen, medical student Becky Epperly and nurse Katie Guckert, front row and volunteer Sarah Andrews, and pediatricians Oscar Gomez and Pete Wallace.  Thank you for all you do forour patients and families!

Sterilization of surgical instruments is a vital aspect of providing care. Nurse Jody Meyer, second from right, and operating room teammates Karla Garibay, Pat Wehrle, and Deb Ockenfels share a moment in the sterilization room.  Thank
you for your commitment to the safety of our patients!

During the mission, the non-medical volunteers have been involved in many projects from dental care outreach to medical equipment repair, interpreting, OR observation, pediatrics, blogging and more.  Alba Spreen, Krasimira Hristov, Sarah Jorgensen, Reinhard Juraschek, Sarah Andrews, Frank Canady, John Ockenfels and Jacque Andrew. Thank you for your contributions to the mission!
